Bourbon Barrel-Aged Grilled Salmon Recipe February 17 2026

People ask us, "How do you use your Barrel Aged Honey?"

Well there's a long list of ways we enjoy our barrel aged honey. Dirzzeled over vanilla ice cream,  paired with blue cheese or brie on a cheese board or to give your hot tea a bit of sweetness and a touch of oak.

But our favorite way to use it is a base for grilling Salmon. The honey helps the other ingredients cling to the filets and as its caramelized it locks the flavors in and forms a sweet thin crust on the tender fish.

Bourbon Barrel-Aged Honey Glazed Salmon

1/4 cup olive oil

4 T TruBee Honey Barrel Aged Honey to mix in marinade

3 T Trubee Honey Barrel Aged Honey for drizzling

2 T balsamic vinegar

2 cloves garlic, crushed

4 (4-6oz) fresh salmon filets

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix oil, vinegar, garlic and 4 T of honey. Marinate filets at least one hour.  Grill until fish is done or bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until flakey.  Drizzle with  remaining honey before serving.
